In the show’s first season finale, Jack and Phoebe’s relationship hits a bump in the road when Jack’s infamous mother Colleen comes for a visit and isn’t afraid to point out the realities of their suspiciously fast-moving fling. Additionally, Liz struggles to maintain a successful long-distance relationship with Floyd, who has packed up and moved out to Cleveland. But the two must put their personal lives on hold as Tracy is still on the run from the Black Crusaders, and TGS is set to put on its season finale in just a few days - with the star of the show missng.

Jack and Phoebe’s wedding date is set and Jack seems truly happy - but Liz has her doubts about the whole thing, and begins to question Phoebe’s motives. But she’s too busy with Floyd to get too involved, who takes her on a weekend retreat to his hometown, the “greatest city in America”, Cleveland, where she becomes a model. However, the trip may end in some serious changes for Liz and Floyd’s relationship. Additionally, after being denounced by Bill Cosby, Tracy believes an elite group called the Black Crusaders is out to destroy him, and he makes a run for his life.
